Letras decoradas en estilo marinero - Letters decorated in sailor style

   El tiempo pasa demasiado deprisa y de pronto me doy cuenta que no he publicado desde hace más de dos meses... No es que no me haya dado cuenta de no publicar aquí, pues los que me seguís en mis redes sociales sabéis que después de publicar en YouTube el vídeo del trabajo terminado publico una entrada en el blog y después comparto las fotos de ese trabajo en el resto de mis redes sociales: Facebook, Instagram y Twitter(tenéis el enlace de todas ellas a la derecha del blog).

   Time passes too quickly and suddenly I realize that I have not published for more than two months... It is not that I have not noticed not publish here, because those who follow me in my social networks know that after post on YouTube the video of the finished work I publish an entry in the blog and then share the photos of that work in the rest of my social networks: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (you have the link of all of them to the right of the blog).

   Me gustaría que leyeras el post completo porque al final de él voy a hablaros de todas las novedades que quiero incluir en el blog. Y como el tiempo es oro no me entretengo más y empiezo a hablaros de este último trabajo. Estas nuevas letras decoradas me las han encargado para formar parte de un candy bar en una boda de estilo marinero.

   I would like you to read the full post because at the end of it I will tell you all the news that I want to include in the blog. And since time is money I do not entertain any longer and I begin to tell you about this last work. These new decorated letters have commissioned me to be part of a candy bar in a wedding style sailor.

   Éstas no son las primeras iniciales que hago y para que veáis otro modelo os dejo aquí el post con las primeras que hice. Al ser de temática marinera he incluido varios detalles que hacen referencia al mar y que le dan a la vez un toque muy elegante. En esta primera foto podéis ver un charm con forma de ancla enganchado de una cadena ancha.

   These are not the first initials I make and for you to see another model I leave here the post with the first ones I did. Being sea-themed I have included several details that refer to the sea and give both a very elegant touch. In this first photo you can see an anchor charm hooked on a wide chain.

   Los cabuchones personalizados ya forman parte de mi seña de identidad y como no podía ser de otra forma en este trabajo también he incluido uno. En él se ve una rosa de los vientos de color azul claro. A diferencia de otras letras de madera en esta ocasión he hecho una base de madera más ancha para incluirle una cuerda y conchas del mar. 

   The personalized cabuchones are already part of my identity and as it could not be otherwise in this work I have also included one. In it is seen a rose of the winds in light blue. Unlike other wooden letters on this occasion I have made a wider wooden base to include a rope and sea shells.

   El último detalle es un timón hecho con papel de color plata y otro de color kraft para simular el color de la madera. Es un poco delicado porque está hecho simplemente con papel troquelado. 

   The last detail is a rudder made with silver paper and a kraft color to simulate the color of the wood. It is a little delicate because it is simply made with punched paper.

   Espero que os haya gustado este trabajo hecho con amor. Ahora me gustaría contaros que tengo al menos dos entradas de trabajos pendientes de publicar en el blog y espero poder hacerlo pronto. Iniciales de madera M&S - Initials of wood M&S

   ¡¡Que llego tarde, que llego tarde!!Igual que el conejo blanco de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas llego un poco más tarde de lo deseado al blog. Espero ponerme pronto al día y publicar con el horario que me he propuesto este año, pero no va a ser fácil y voy a tener que trabajar duro. Además, vais a tener una sorpresa muy pronto en el blog y espero que os guste mucho.

   Seguimos en modo romántico "on" ante la llegada inminente de San Valentín. Hace no mucho me encargaron unas iniciales de madera que decoré con un estilo muy moderno en el que están incluidos los marrones chocolate y los dorados. El color de base es el blanco así que también se podrían utilizar perfectamente para decorar un "candy bar" de una boda.

   La combinación de colores crea un ambiente romántico y a la vez elegante. El papel que utilicé para decorar las letras forma parte de la colección "Capsule-Geometric Mocha" de Docrafts, de un estilo muy moderno y que lleva muchos detalles en foil dorado. La verdad es que es una colección que enamora a pesar de su escaso gramaje.

   La "M" corresponde a la inicial del chico y por eso quise darle un toque masculino adornándola con engranajes, mientras que la "S" tiene una flor plana y una perla, al ser la inicial de la chica. A pesar de su escasa decoración, para mí la justa, ahora mismo decora una pequeña estantería de un salón al que le han querido dar un toque más personal con estas iniciales.

   Me encantaría que me dejaras un comentario con tu opinión sobre ese trabajo y antes de despedirme quiero hablarte de muchas novedades que vas a encontrar en el blog. Llevo ya unos meses impartiendo un curso básico de amigurumis en mi canal de YouTube y todavía no os había hablado de él por aquí. Mini álbum masculino en cascada - Mini male album in waterfall

   Dejamos atrás la Navidad y nos centramos en la siguiente celebración... ¡¡San Valentín!! Siempre resulta algo difícil encontrar el regalo adecuado para nuestra pareja, sobretodo, si es un chico. Tenemos que evitar caer en la tentación de volver a comprar los típicos calcetines o perfume... Ellos también tienen su corazoncito y podemos aprovechar esta fecha tan señalada para tocarles la fibra sensible.

   We left Christmas behind and we focus on the next celebration... Valentine´s day!! It is always difficult to find the right gift for our partner, especially if it is a boy. We have to avoid being tempted to go back to buying the typical socks or fragance... They also have their little heart and we can take advantage of this date so marked to touch the sensitive fiber.

   En el scrapbooking también encontramos hueco para ellos y escogiendo los papeles adecuados podemos tener un mini álbum donde guardar los recuerdos de nuestros momentos juntos. En este caso, los papeles son de diversos colores con un estampado imitando la acuarela, a parte incluye muchos elementos decorativos en dorado.

   In scrapbooking we also find space for them and choosing the right papers we can have a mini album where we keep the memories of our moments together. In this case, the papers are of different colors with a pattern imitating the watercolor, besides includes many decorative elements in gold.

   Como os comentaba, en el interior encontramos una explosión de colores y un par de rubbons dorados, ¡¡el atrapasueños es precioso!! La parte de la izquierda es una solapa imantada y debajo de ésta tenemos espacio para escribir, en la derecha hay un bolsillo con un tag que contiene un mensaje estampado con un sello. En el centro se encuentra la cascada y en ella caben once fotos. 

   As I commented, inside we found an explosion of colors and a pair of golden rubbons, the dream catcher is lovely!! The left part is a magnetized flap and below it we can write, on the right there is a pocket with a tag that contains a message stamped with a stamp. In the center is the waterfall and in it fit eleven photos.

   En la parte trasera está el mensaje más importante: "Te quiero". A parte de todo lo que habéis visto en las fotos le envié a la persona que me encargó el álbum unos cuantos die cuts para que los pegara una vez hubiera colocado las fotos. Si queréis verlos los enseño en el vídeo que os dejo a continuación. Para cerrar el álbum utilicé un trozo de yute. 

   In the back is the most important message: "I love you". Apart from everything you have seen in the photos, I sent the person who commissioned the album a few die cuts for to paste them once she had placed the photos. If you want to see them I show them in the video that I leave you next. To close the album I used a piece of jute.

   Espero que os haya gustado esta idea para sorprender de una manera romántica a nuestra pareja tanto en San Valentín como en nuestro aniversario. Por supuesto, cambiando los papeles podemos utilizar este mismo álbum para otras ocasiones como viajes, cumpleaños, etc. Espero que os haya gustado este nuevo trabajo y que me comentéis qué os ha parecido. ¡¡Hasta la próxima entrada!!

   I hope you liked this idea to surprise our couple in a romantic way both on Valentine's Day and on our anniversary. Exploding box navideña - Christmas Exploding Box

   ¡¡Hoy por fin llega la Navidad a Dulces Ratos Libres!!Y es que hoy quiero enseñaros el primer trabajo navideño de este año. Ya tengo varios en mente como, por ejemplo, comenzar con el Project Life ya que el año pasado quiso empezarlo pero me fue imposible. ¡¡De este año no pasa!!Y como veis en la foto de abajo os traigo un regalo...

   Today at last Christmas comes to Dulces Ratos Libres!!Because today I want to show you the first Christmas work this year. I already have several in mind, for example, to start with the Project Life since last year I wanted to start it but it was impossible. This year I will start it!!    Éste fue un regalo especial para una persona especial... Y es que este año mi afición(las manualidades) ha hecho que conociera un grupo de personas muy importantes para mí, ya que hasta ahora no había encontrado a personas con mis mismas inquietudes y aficiones cerca de donde vivo. Este regalo se lo hice a Desi, creadora del canal de YouTube Aalcuadrado Crafts. Te invito a que pases por él y que eches un vistazo a sus vídeos. 

   This was a special gift for a special person ... And this year my hobby(crafts) has made me meet a group of people very important to me, since until now I had not found people with my same concerns and hobbies near where I live. This gift was made to Desi, creator of the YouTube Channel Aalcuadrado Crafts. I invite you to go through it and take a look at her videos.

   Cada una de las personas del grupo hicimos un regalo para un "amigo invisible", así que nadie sabía quien iba a hacerle un regalo. Como veis en el título esta creación se llama "Exploding box" y para quien no sepa lo que es ésta lleva una sorpresa en su interior. Pero antes quiero que veas que no me separo del estilo vintage y shabby chic, ¡¡son mis preferidos!!

   Each of the people in the group made a gift for an "invisible friend," so no one knew who was going to give him a gift. As you see in the title this creation is called "Exploding box" and for those who do not know what it is this has a surprise inside. But first I want you see that I do not separate from the vintage and shabby chic style, they are my favorite !!

   Como podéis ver el interior es "explosivo" al quitarle la tapa. Los laterales de la caja se abren totalmente y esto es lo que aparece. Y en el centro, ¡¡un árbol de Navidad de origami!!Cada solapa de la caja tiene diferentes detalles como un rosetón o un sobre donde le escribí una dedicatoria para felicitarle las fiestas.

   As you can see the interior is "explosive" when removing the cover. The sides of the box open fully and this is what appears. And in the center, an origami Christmas tree!! Each flap of the box has different details such as a rosette or envelope where I wrote a dedication to congratulate the Christmas parties.

   Espero que en las fotos veáis toda la decoración de la "Exploding box" aunque a continuación os dejaré el vídeo donde la enseño más detalladamente. Muchos de los adornos llevan foil o embossing dorado. ¡¡Espero que os guste como ha quedado el resultado!!

   I hope that in the photos you see all the decoration of the "Exploding box" but then I'll leave the video where I show more detail. Many of the ornamentss carry foil or embossing gold. I hope you like how the result has been!!

Mini álbum "En la feria" - Mini album "At the fair"

   Como ya os dije en la entrada anterior (que fue de unas letras de madera decoradas), estoy participando en el tercer DT Call de Anita y su mundo. A parte de un trabajo libre también hay que hacer un mini álbum, así que para realizarlo he escogido el kit de Anita y su mundo que se llama "Mis chuches". Es un kit muy completo y que nos sirve para realizar varios trabajos.

   As I told you in the previous post (which was a decorated wooden letters), I am participating in the third DT Call of Anita and su mundo. A part of a free work also have to make a mini album, so I chose to do it  a Anita y su mundo´s kit called "Mis chuches". It is a complete kit that we can use to make multiple jobs.

   Es un mini álbum muy alegre y que utilizaré para guardar las fotos que hicimos una tarde que fuimos a la feria. La portada y contraportada son muy originales porque tienen forma de banderín. Para encuadernarlo utilicé la Cinch y en el gusanillo puse baker twin de colores.

   It is a very cheerful mini album and I will use it to save the photos we did one afternoon we went to the fair. The front and back are very original because they are shaped flag. I used to bind it the Cinch and put in the bug baker twin of colors.

   El mini álbum está compuesto de cinco páginas con desplegables que se cierran con un imán, así que tiene capacidad para varias fotos. Toda la decoración que he utilizado forma parte del kit que tiene unos colores muy vivos y vibrantes.

   The mini album is composed of five pages with drop down that close with a magnet, so it can accommodate multiple photos. All the decoration I have used part of the kit which has very vivid and vibrant colors.

   Las páginas están realizadas con cartón kraft y cartulina blanca. En la parte de la cartulina he colocado unos marcos troquelados con la Big Shot que están sueltos para que posteriormente coloquemos las fotos. Junto a los marcos he pegado algunos elementos recortados de un papel del kit.

   The pages are made of kraft and white cardboard. In part cardboard I have placed frames die cut with the Big Shot that are loose so that later we place the photos. Along with the frames I glued some items cut of a paper kit.

   El desplegable está formado por tarjetas grandes y pequeñas que incluye el kit. Son ideales para escribir la crónica o palabras inspiradoras.

   The drop down consists of large and small cards included in the kit. They are ideal for write journaling or inspiring words.

   Os he enseñado en fotos algunas de las páginas que forman el álbum pero si quieres verlo al completo te dejo el vídeo del tutorial y cómo son todas las páginas que componen este álbum. Letras de madera "Aitana - Wood letters "Aitana"

   Hace tiempo que tenía ganas de un cambio y por fin he cambiado la estética del blog de arriba a abajo. Me gustaría que me dijerais en los comentarios que os parece este aspecto renovado y más actual. El post que os traigo hoy es muy importante porque en él os enseño uno de los trabajos que voy a presentar para el tercer DT Call de Anita y su mundo. 

   Some time ago that I wanted a change and finally I changed the aesthetics of the blog from top to bottom. I wish that you say on the comments that you think about this new and more current look. The post that I bring today is very important because in it I show one of the jobs that I present for the third DT Call of Anita y su mundo.

   Estoy muy ilusionada con la idea de pensar que puedo formar parte del equipo de trabajo de Anita y su mundo y por eso me esforzado al máximo para crear un bonito trabajo. Para decorar estas letras de madera he utilizado un kit de scrapbooking de la marca Anita y su mundo, que se llama "Mis chuches".

   I am very excited with the idea of thinking that I can be part of the team of Anita y su mundo and so I made every effort to create a nice job. To decorate these wooden letters I used a scrapbooking kit of Anita y su mundo, which is called "My sweets".

   Las letras que he decorado forman el nombre de mi hija pequeña "Aitana" y por eso elegí esta bonita colección, pues tiene colores muy alegres y divertidos. Además encajan perfectamente en su habitación. A parte de los papeles el kit incluye lentejuelas, chapas y otros elementos decorativos que combinan genial entre sí.

   I decorated letters form the name of my little daughter "Aitana" and why I chose this beautiful collection, it has very bright and fun colors. Furthermore they fit perfectly into her room. A part of the paper the kit includes sequins, plates and other decorative elements that combine great together.

   A parte algunos de los papeles tienen formas para recortar, sobretodo, chucherías y helados. Otros tienen tarjetas que podemos utilizar para diversos trabajos. No quiero adelantaros nada, pero esta semana que viene volveré con el mini álbum que he hecho para esta participación, pues era otro de los requisitos para poder participar. En él también he utilizado esta misma colección.

   Besides some of the papers have shapes to cut, especially, sweets and ice cream. Others have cards that can be used for different jobs. I do not want anything come forward, but this coming week I come back with the mini album I've done for this participation, because it was one of the requirements to participate. In it I have also used this same collection.

   Como hace mucho tiempo que no os enseño ningún trabajo de scrap esta semana he decidido mostraros una libreta que hice hace unos meses. Realmente no he hecho la libreta sino que la he comprado y la he decorado para regalar.

   Long time ago that I don´t show any work of scrap this week I decided to show you a notebook I did a few months ago. I have not really made the notebook but I bought it and I decorated to gift.

   Como ya sabéis suelo recurrir mucho a las flores y en esta ocasión también lo hice. Este regalo iba dirigido a una persona que conocí hace unos meses y a quien he cogido mucho aprecio. Así que aproveché que era su cumpleaños para darle una sorpresa.

   As you know and rely much to flowers to decorate and this time also I did. This gift was addressed to a person who I met a few months ago and whom I have taken much appreciation. So I took it was her birthday to surprise.

   Como a ella le encanta la música(igual que a mí) le di una doble sorpresa incluyendo dentro de la libreta un sobre con un CD de música.

   As she loves music (like me) gave a double surprise in the notebook including an envelope with a music CD.

   Dentro de la libreta se encuentran detalles como el borde de las hojas entintadas y una blonda con el texto en inglés "Hecho con amor".

   Inside the book are details such as the edge of the sheet inked and lace with the English text "Made with love".

Estructura álbum de comunión - Communion album structure

   Dos meses sin publicar nada nuevo y parece que por fin vuelvo a poder retomar mis manualidades a causa de unas vacaciones forzadas. Espero que durante mi ausencia hayáis estado repasando el blog y viendo qué tipo de manualidades suelo hacer. Los que me seguís desde hace tiempo sabéis que comencé con los amigurumis y que ahora también hago scrapbooking, pero a parte hago muchas otras manualidades.

   Two months without posting anything new and it seems that finally I come to resume my craft because of a forced vacation. I hope you've been going over the blog during my absence and seeing what kind of crafts usually I do. Those who follow me for some time know that started with the amigurumis and now also do scrapbooking, but otherwise do many other crafts.

   Hoy me gustaría enseñaros el trabajo de scrapbooking más grande que he hecho hasta ahora. Desde que practico esta manualidad no he hecho muchas cosas, así que quería que vierais la estructura del álbum, el que próximamente decoraré, que estoy haciendo para la comunión de mi hija. Esta estructura se conoce como "espina" o "binding".

   Today I would like to show the work of scrapbooking biggest I've done so far. Since practicing this craft I have not done many things, so I want you to see the structure of the album, which will soon decorate it, I'm doing for my daughter's communion. This structure is known as "thorn" or "binding".

   Ya sé que no soy muy experta en el tema pero me apetecía hacer algo especial para este bonito día. Este tipo de estructura no permite crear un álbum con muchas páginas, así que lo hice de sólo seis páginas. El tamaño del álbum es bastante grande así que espero que entren muchas fotos.

   I know I'm not expert on the subject but I wanted to do something special for this beautiful day. This type of structure does not create an album with many pages, so I did just six pages. The size of the album is quite large so I hope to come many photos.

   Para dar más cabida al álbum cada página es realmente un bolsillo muy grande en el que dentro hay una tarjeta que también decoraré y servirá para ponerle fotos. Estas tarjetas están decoradas en un borde con una puntilla hecha con una perforadora muy elegante.

   To further accommodate the album every page is really a very big pocket inside is a card that also will decorate and serve to put pictures. These cards are decorated in a border with a sprig made with a very stylish punch.

   Ahora se ve muy blanco pero lo más bonito está por venir. Estoy deseando ponerme a decorarlo con bonitos papeles y muchos detalles. Espero que me digáis qué os ha parecido la estructura del álbum ya que es muy importante para mí y si tenéis cualquier consejo estoy encantada de leerlo en los comentarios. Tarjeta de amor masculina - Card male love

   ¡¡¡Pero que ganas tenía de volver a escribir en mi blog!!!Esto de no tener nada de tiempo libre es un fastidio, con el ritmo que había cogido yo de publicar todas las semanas una manualidad nueva. Desde hace unos dos meses ni publico ni hago manualidades, pero por fin puedo disfrutar de un poco de tiempo libre, así que espero que disculpéis mi gran ausencia. ¡¡Yo os he echado mucho de menos!!

   But that desire had to retype on my blog !!! This not having any free time is a nuisance, with the pace I had taken to publish every week a new craft. From about two months ago neither public nor do crafts, but I can finally enjoy some free time, so I hope your pardon my great absence. I have missed you so much !!

   El día de San Valentín subí a mi canal de Youtube el tutorial de esta tarjeta masculina realizada especialmente para regalar en San Valentín(más abajo os dejo el enlace directo al vídeo). A parte también se puede regalar en aniversarios. En la tarjeta predominan los colores blanco, negro y dorado. Los dos primeros me parecen una combinación muy elegante y el dorado, realizado con la técnica del embossing, está muy de moda ahora mismo en el scrap.

   The Valentine´s Day went to my Youtube channel the tutorial of this masculine card made especially for gift on Valentine's Day (below I leave the direct link to the video). Besides you can also give in anniversaries. In the card predominate white, black and gold colors. The first two seem to me a very elegant combination and gold, made with the technique of embossing, it is very fashionable right now in the scrap.

   En el interior hice un bolsillo con cartulina negra y corazones troquelados. Aquí se puede introducir una foto o entradas de concierto, teatro o cine. Pero como ya sabéis puede ser utilizado para lo que vosotros/as queráis. Como siempre, el otro lado queda libre para que escribáis una dedicatoria.

   Inside I made a pocket with black cardboard and stamped hearts. Here you can enter a photo or concert tickets, theater or cinema. But as you know it can be used for what you want. As always, the other side is free for you write a dedication.

Marco de fotos - Photo frame

   Sigo manteniendo el ritmo de publicar una entrada en el blog a la semana, pero el problema es que no sé si tendré alguna manualidad para la semana que viene. Ahora mismo estoy trabajando y no tengo mucho tiempo libre, así que no os prometo nada. De todas formas intentaré revisar fotos antiguas para mirar si tengo algún trabajo pendiente por enseñaros de hace tiempo.

   I continue the rate of publishing a blog post a week, but the problem is I do not know if I will have a craft for next week. Right now I'm working and I have not much time, so I can not promise anything. Anyway I will try to review old photos to see if I have some unfinished work to show for a while.

   Esta semana quiero enseñaros la última manualidad que he terminado. Se trata de un marco de fotos de madera que decoré con la técnica del scrapbooking, utilizando papeles decorados y elementos decorativos. Dentro, en vez de llevar una foto, tiene una frase positiva para empezar bien el día.

   This week I want to show you the last craft I'm done. It is a wooden photo frame to decorate with the technique of scrapbooking, using decorated papers and decorative elements. Inside, instead of taking a picture, you have a positive phrase to start your day.

   En esta foto podéis ver más de cerca la frase que estampé en una cartulina blanca con un sello de alfabeto. En el fondo puse un papel decorado azul con topitos blancos, el cuál también utilicé para hacer los banderines que aparecen en la imagen.

   In this photo you can see more about the phrase that I stamped with a seal alphabet in a white cardboard. At the bottom put a blue paper decorated with white polka dots, which also used to make pins shown in the picture.

   En la parte inferior del marco pegué un par de mariposas de madera, una en rosa y otra en azul. Como también habréis observado en el frontal pegué un papel decorado muy juvenil de color rosa y toques azules. También tiene glitter en algunas zonas.

   In the bottom of the frame I hit a couple of wooden butterflies, one in pink and one in blue. As you will have seen on the front hit a youthful paper decorated pink and blue accents. It also has glitter in some areas.

   !!Y éste ha sido el resultado final!!Este marco ya está en la mesita de noche de mi hija mayor, ya que poco a poco voy a ir decorando mi casa con mis manualidades.

   And this was the end result !! This photo phrame is already at the bedside of my oldest daughter, because gradually I´m going to decorate my house with my crafts.

Letras de madera decoradas - Decorated wooden letters

   Después de las fiestas navideñas llega poner en marcha los propósitos de año nuevo y seguir haciendo nuevos trabajos. El trabajo que hoy os enseño no tiene nada que ver con la navidad pero se lo regalé a mi hermana en Reyes. Son unas letras de madera que forman su nombre y que decoré con la técnica del scrapbooking.

   After the holidays comes launch the New Year's resolutions and keep doing new jobs. The work that I show you today has nothing to do with Christmas but I gave it to my sister in the Magician Kings. Are some wooden letters forming her name and decorated it with the technique of scrapbooking.

   Como no podía ser de otra manera el estilo que he utilizado es el shabby chic o romántico. Lo primero que hice para decorarlas fue elegir los papeles decorados que utilizaría para decorar cada letra, después pegué la letra al papel y recorté el sobrante. Para darle un bonito acabado limé el borde del papel y lo entinté. 

   How could it be otherwise I have used the style shabby chic or romantic. First thing I did was choose the decorated papers that used to decorate each letter, then hit the letter to the paper and cut out the excess. To give a nice finish file the edge of the paper and inked.

   También añadí algunos elementos decorativos a cada letra, por ejemplo, en una pegué una mariposa dorada troquelada con la Big Shot, en otra pequé medias perlas blancas y a la última le añadí una flor de papel. Son pequeñas decoraciones porque no me gusta recargar mucho los trabajos.

    I also added some decorative elements to each letter, for example, I hit a golden butterfly stamped with the Big Shot, in another sinned half white pearls and last I added a paper flower. They are small decorations because I don´t like recharge much the work.

   He visto muchos trabajos de letras decoradas pero ninguno de varias formando, por ejemplo, un nombre, así que se me ocurrió añadir un trozo de madera donde pegué las letras. Esta madera tuve que serrarla, lijarla y pintarla, y para esto último utilicé la pintura chalk, la cual me tiene enamorada tanto por su color como por lo que me facilita el trabajo.

   I have seen many jobs of decorated letters but none of several forming, for example, a name, so I thought I add a piece of wood where I glued the letters. This wood I had to saw, sanding and painting, and for this last painting I used chalk, which has me in love both for its color and so it facilitates the work.

Regalo de navidad para Susana - Christmas present for Susana

   ¡¡Feliz año nuevo a todos los que me leéis!!Antes de todo voy a deciros que estoy trabajando y por eso no sé si voy a poder publicar una nueva entrada todas las semanas. Yo lo seguiré intentando pero no prometo nada. Hoy os voy a enseñar muchas cosas nuevas que hice antes de Navidad y que mandé a Estados Unidos, pues allí vive una amiga virtual, Susana, que hace ganchillo como yo.

   Happy new year to all who read me !! First of all I will say that I am working and therefore do not know if I will be able to publish a new post every week. I keep trying but no promises. Today I'll show many new things I did before Christmas and sent to the United States because there lives a virtual friend, Susana, who does crochet like me.

   Os lo enseño después de la navidad porque he querido esperar a que lo recibiera, ya que era un regalo y quería que fuera sorpresa. Una de las cosas que le mandé fue este pequeño árbol de navidad. Es pequeño porque es para colgar en el árbol o donde cada uno quiera. Si queréis hacerlo os dejo el enlace aquí de donde saqué el patrón que está en inglés pero lo traduje al castellano y os lo dejo aquí de manera gratuita(todavía no he tenido tiempo de montar el patrón, así que lo tendréis en breve en el enlace).

   Como veis el patrón es bastante sencillo. Decoré el árbol con perlas cosidas y un lazo blanco. Vosotros podéis hacer vuestra combinación de colores preferida, yo he elegido los colores marrón, verde y rojo. También quise hacerle un packaging así que utilicé una bolsa de celofán, baker twin y un tag navideño. Este árbol lo tenéis disponible en mi tienda Etsy pinchando aquí.

   You see the pattern is quite simple. I decorate the tree with sewn pearls and a white tie. You can make your preferred color scheme, I chose the brown, green and red. I also wanted to do a packaging so I used a cellophane bag, twin baker and a Christmas tag. This tree I have available in my Etsy shop by clicking here.

   A parte también le envié esta pequeña corona navideña hecha con ganchillo. Hacía mucho tiempo que la había visto y por suerte encontré el vídeo-tutorial en Youtube y os lo dejo aquí por si queréis hacerla. El único problema es que está en portugués pero es fácil de entender. Me gustaría haceros el vídeo-tutorial en español si estáis interesados, así que darme vuestra opinión en los comentarios.

   El packaging que hice para la corona es muy parecido al del árbol salvo por el washi tape dorado que le puse. Como veis también se puede colgar en el árbol y para decorarla le puse cintas navideñas y una campana. Esta corona también la tenéis disponible en mi tienda Etsy, aquí.

   The packaging I did for the crown is very similar to the tree except for the washi tape I put gold. As you see you can also hang on the tree and put him to decorate Christmas ribbons and a bell. This crown also have available in my Etsy shop here.

   Lo último que le hice a Susana fue una tarjeta navideña de estilo vintage y también hice su sobre a juego. Me gustó muchísimo el resultado porque es un estilo que me gusta mucho.

   The last thing I did to Susana was a Christmas card in vintage style and made its matching envelope. I really liked the result because it is a style that I like.
