Regalo para Mario - Gift for Mario

   ¡¡Lo conseguí!!Sólo he tardado una semana en pasarme por el blog, ahora falta no perder el ritmo... Queda muy poco para Navidad y este año estoy haciendo muchos proyectos para esta época del año. El problema es que muchos no los voy a poder enseñar hasta que no lleguen a su destino, ya sabéis que los regalos tienen que ser sorpresa.

   I got it !! I only took a week to go through the blog, now need to keep pace ... Soon will be Christmas and this year I'm doing a lot of projects for this time of year. The problem is that many will not be able to show until you reach her destination, you know that gifts have to be surprise.

   Hoy os enseño un pedido que terminé hace un par de semanas. Se trata de un par de cosas que me encargaron para regalar a un bebé que se llama Mario. Una de las cosas fue una cesta de trapillo beig cubierta con una tela marrón con topitos blancos. La diferencia con el resto de cestas que he hecho antes es que le bordé a máquina el nombre.

   Today I show you an order that I finished a couple of weeks ago. It's a couple of things they commissioned me to give to a baby named Mario. One of the things was a basket of trapillo beige with a brown cloth cover with white polka dots. The difference with the rest of baskets I've done before is that edge machine name.

   Aprovecho para contaros que ahora dispongo de una máquina que borda, así que puedo añadir cualquier bordado personalizado al trabajo que más os guste. A consecuencia de esto he abierto una nueva página de Facebook dedicada a los bordados que se llama "Bordando Momentos" por si os apetece pasar a visitarla.

   I take this opportunity to tell you that now I have a machine that embroiders, so I can add any custom embroidery work that you like. As a result of this I have opened a new Facebook page dedicated to the embroidery called "Bordando Momentos" in case you want to go visit her.

   En el encargo también me pidieron un pato de ganchillo, el cual ya os enseñé en otra entrada del blog anterior en la que aparecen dos patos iguales a éste. Si queréis verla pinchad aquí. Quedó un conjunto muy bonito. La cesta de trapillo está indicada para meter dentro pañales del bebé.

   In the commission also they asked me a amigurumi duck, which already showed you earlier in another blog entry in which two ducks appears like this. If you want to see it click here. It was a very nice set. Trapillo basket is indicated to put in baby diapers.

   Espero volver la semana que viene con una nueva manualidad, que seguramente será un amigurumi muy especial y de temática navideña. ¡¡Nos vemos pronto!!

Intercambio con Ivet - Ivet exchange

   No, no he desaparecido... Bueno sí he desaparecido por un mes pero vuelvo con muchas ganas y muchos proyectos entre manos y en mi cabeza. Llevo un mes sin escribir en mi querido blog y ya lo echaba de menos y espero que vosotros también me hayáis echado de menos a mí y a mis trabajos. Sinceramente muchas veces pienso que nadie lee mi blog, pero cuando miro las estadísticas me doy cuenta de que estoy equivocada: pasáis silenciosos por aquí, pero lo importante es que pasáis. ¡¡Gracias!!

   No, I have not gone ... Well yeah I disappeared for a month but come back raring and many projects between hands and on my head. I took a month without writing in my wanted blog and  missed him and I hope that you also missed me and my work. Honestly I often think that nobody reads my blog, but when I look at the statistics, I realize I'm wrong: you spend quiet around here, but the important thing is that you pass. Thank you!!

   Hoy os enseño esta preciosa tarjeta. La hice para un intercambio de material de scrapbooking con un chica que adora el scrap, Ivet. Ella me propuso el intercambio y yo accedí, pero a parte del material acordamos mandarnos una tarjeta hecha por nosotras.

   Today I show you this lovely card. I did it for an exchange of scrapbooking material with a girl who loves the scrap, Ivet. She suggested the exchange and I agreed, but some of the material agreed to send a card made by us.

   Ya sabéis que me encanta el estilo shabby chic, así que esta tarjeta quise inspirarla en este estilo. La base es de azul celeste, tiene una cinta en rosa, un cartel dorado y encaje blanco. Así que en una misma tarjeta encontramos muchos elementos shabby chic. A parte le añadí unas flores con colores a juego.

   You know that I love the shabby chic style, so this card wanted to inspire in this style. The base is light blue, has a pink ribbon, a gold die cut and white lace. So in the same card are many shabby chic elements. Besides I added some flowers with matching colors.

   Dentro puse una cartulina en blanco para escribirle un mensaje a Ivet, que está rodeada de un falso cosido y tiene un sello estampado. En la otra cara podéis ver un papel decorado rosa con topitos blancos y el borda está troquelado.

   I put in a blank cardboard to write a message to Ivet, which is surrounded by a fake stitching and has a stamp. On the other side you can see a pink paper decorated with white polka dots and the rail is punched.

   En esta foto podéis ver la tarjeta con su sobre y si os apetece ver el vídeo que grabé enseñando lo que ella me envió os lo dejo aquí debajo.

Bruja by Havva Unlu - Witch by Havva Unlu

     Hoy publico en este post uno de los trabajos más grandes, complicados y que más tiempo he necesitado para hacerlo. Lo comencé en octubre del año pasado con la intención de regalárselo a mi hermana en su cumpleaños, que es el día de Halloween. Al final tuve que dejar apartado este trabajo por falta de tiempo y este verano pasado lo terminé, así que contuve las ganas que tenía de enseñároslo hasta este mes, ya que está relacionado con la fiesta de Halloween.

   Today I publish in this post one of the biggest, most complicated and time I needed to do work. I started in October last year with the intention to give it to my sister on her birthday, which is on Halloween. I finally had to leave this job due to time and this past summer I finished, so I held the desire I had to show it to you until this month, as it is related to Halloween.

   Viendo esta foto intuiréis de que se trata... Todos estos complementos acompañan a mi nuevo amigurumi que mide cuarenta centímetros de alto sin sombrero. Como ya os imaginaréis se trata de una bruja cuyo  patrón ha sido diseñado por Havva Unlu.

   Seeing this photo you can intuit more ... All these gadgets come with my new amigurumi which measures forty centimeters tall hatless. As you will imagine it is a witch whose pattern is designed by Havva Unlu.

   Como veréis ha sido un trabajo muy duro. Comencé por la cabeza donde encontré las primeras dificultades como ponerle todo el pelo hebra a hebra o hacerle una cara bonita, sobretodo los ojos que están hechos de fieltro. Después continué con los brazos que tiene unos dedos diminutos. La siguiente dificultad la encontré en las piernas porque están hechas con dos colores: blanco y negro.

     As you can see it has been a very hard work. I started with the head where I found the first difficulties like putting all the hair strand by strand or give a pretty face, especially the eyes are made of felt. Then I continued with arms that have tiny fingers. The next difficulty is found in the legs because they are made with two colors: white and black.

      Como ya sabéis queda muy poco tiempo para que llegue Halloween y aunque no es una fiesta típica de mi país(España) guardo buenos recuerdos de ella que compartí con mis queridos amigos de Inglaterra, Jim y Lesley.

     As you know there is little time for Halloween comes and although is not a typical party in my country (Spain) I keep good memories of her that I shared with my dear friends from England, Jim and Lesley.

     En la foto podéis observar a la bruja que tiene alambre en los brazos y las piernas para poder darles formas diferentes. En el cuello también puse alambre para que la cabeza se mantuviera recta. La bruja viene acompañada de su sombrero, una escoba y una calabaza. Elegí el color morado como el principal, el cual va acompañado del negro y el blanco.

     In the picture you can see the witch that has wire in her arms and legs to give them different ways. On the neck also I put wire to keep his head straight. The witch is accompanied by her hat, a broom and a pumpkin. I chose the color purple as the main, which is accompanied by black and white.

Patos by Little Muggles - Ducks by Little Muggles

   ¡¡Cuánto tiempo sin enseñaros un amigurumi nuevo!!Me parece que lo último que os enseñé fue el ramo de novia amarillo hace ya varios meses. Y no creáis que he dejado la aguja de ganchillo apartada porque no le he dado ni unas pequeñas vacaciones.

   Long time no show you a new amigurumi !! I think the last thing I showed you was the yellow bouquet for a bride several months ago. And do not think I've left the crochet hook away because I have not given even a little vacation.

   Pues como he tardado tanto hoy os enseño dos a la vez. Son estos dos patitos que me han encargado para unos mellizos. Para realizarlos he tenido que traducirlos del inglés, pues su patrón está creado por Little Muggles, una de mis diseñadoras favoritas de amigurumis.

   For as I have taken so long today we show you both at once. Are these two ducklings who have asked me for twins. To perform them I had to translate from English, because its pattern is created by Little Muggles, one of my favorite amigurumi designers.

   Aunque los patos son iguales no son idénticos, algo que me gusta de los trabajos hechos a mano, que ninguno es irrepetible. Uno tiene el gorro y el pañuelo en azul claro y el otro en azul oscuro. También tienen una leve diferencia de tamaño influenciada quizás por estar más rellenado uno que el otro.

   Although ducks are equal are not identical, something that I like about the work done by hand, none is unique. One has the hat and scarf in light blue and the other dark blue. They also have a slight difference in size may be influenced more filling one another.

   El resultado me ha parecido muy bonito y dulce, pues me parece un regalo ideal para unos recién nacidos. El gorro y el pañuelo indican que son unos patitos marineros. 

   The result has seemed very nice and sweet, because I think are an ideal gift for a newborn. The hat and scarf indicate that they're sailors ducks.

   Como os comentaba me parecen una buena elección para regalar a bebés porque son muy blanditos y tienen un tamaño grande pero a la vez manejable.

   As I said I look like a good choice to give to babies because they are very cuddly and have a big size but manageable too.

   También he trabajado mucho en su envoltorio pues los que me conocéis hace tiempo sabéis que me gusta entregar mis trabajos de la manera más bonita posible. En este caso hice una base de cartón en forma de cesta y la parte superior está hecha con papel celofán.

   I have also worked a lot on its packaging because those who know me know that I like to give my works the nicest possible way. In this case did a cardboard basket-shaped and the top is made from cellophane.

Archivador plastificado - Plasticized file

   Primero de todo quería disculpar mi ausencia en el blog durante dos semanas y media porque os dije que escribiría en él un post cada semana. Pero como ya sabéis las cosas nunca vienen solas... A ver si a partir de ahora tengo menos trabajo y puedo seguir enseñándoos mis manualidades. Hoy os traigo un nuevo trabajo de scrapbooking, un archivador plastificado.

   First of all I wanted to excuse my absence from the blog for two weeks and a half because I said I would write in a post each week. But as you know things never come alone ... Let's see if from now have less work and I can continue showing you my crafts. Today I bring a new scrapbooking work, a plastic file.

   Mi hermana pequeña ha empezado el bachillerato este curso, así que le he decorado este archivador donde guarda todos sus apuntes para que afronte esta nueva etapa con gran optimismo, esfuerzo y trabajo. Este archivador tiene un plástico transparente en la zona de delante y en el lateral, que son los dos sitios donde he colocado la decoración para que no se estropee. 

   My little sister started high school this year, so we have decorated this file where she stores all her notes for that confronts this new phase with great optimism and hard work. This file has a transparent plastic in the front and on the side, which are the two places where I placed the decor so it does not spoil.

   Como podéis observar en las fotos los colores predominantes son los pastel pero con algunas zonas resaltadas de color negro. La temática es de viajes porque a ella le gusta mucho viajar y a parte eligió el papel que fue la base de toda la decoración y también está relacionado con los viajes.

   As you can see in the photos the predominant colors are pastel but with some areas highlighted in black. The theme is travel because she loves to travel and a part chose the paper that was the basis of all the decoration and is also related to travel.
