El búho rosa - The pink owl

   En esta ocasión repito con un modelo de búho que ya hice, además éste también me lo encargó mi amiga Lesley, pero para regalárselo a su nieta. Aquí os dejo el enlace de la entrada donde os hablo de la creadora del diseño del búho y también encontraréis el link a su patrón gratuito en inglés.

   Por supuesto, los colores escogidos son más apropiados para una niña, como son el fucsia, lila y rosa claro.

   En esta foto de la parte de atrás podéis ver que la colita también es rosa claro.

   Y como ya sabéis, ahora cada amigurumi hecho por mí va dentro de su caja totalmente hecha a mano, al igual que su contenido. Por ahora ésta es la que más ha gustado, así que veo que poco a poco voy mejorando en este aspecto.

   And as you know, now every amigurumi done for me is inside the box totally handmade, like its content. For now this is what most liked, so I see that I am slowly improving in this area.

   En esta foto podéis ver los detalles de la caja: washi tape, un botón en forma de corazón y un sticker de un búho con los mismos colores del que está dentro de la caja. 

   In this photo you can see the details of the case: washi tape, button-shaped heart and a sticker of an owl with the same colors that the owl is inside the box.

   Otra cosa que hace especial a este búho es que ya está en Inglaterra, en esta preciosa habitación, a juego con sus bonitos y dulces colores. ¡¡Es preciosa!!

Lámina de scrapbooking enero - January scrapbooking sheet

   Después de la tarjeta navideña scrapeada os traigo mi primera lámina de scrapbooking. Os voy a explicar lo que yo intentaré plasmar en cada lámina que intentaré hacer una vez al mes. Escogeré un momento de ese mes y contaré lo que sentí o lo más destacado de ese evento. Después a final de año crearé un álbum con estas láminas.

 

   After scrap Christmas card I bring my first sheet of scrapbooking. I'll explain what I try to capture in each sheet will try to do once a month. I'll choose a time of the month and tell what I felt or the highlights of the event. After the end of the year I will create an album with these sheets.
 

 

 

 

   Como véis elegí la cabalgata de Reyes como momento especial de enero. La base de la lámina es una cartulina en color kraft y sobre ella he puesto una cartulina blanca sobre la que he colocado las fotos, que están encima de unos marcos rojos de papel decorado.

 

   As you can see I chose the Three Kings as a special time in January. The base of the sheet is a kraft cardboard and on it I put a white cardboard on which I placed the photos, which are above a red frames decorative paper.

 

 

 

   En la zona central y abajo he escrito la crónica, donde relato lo que pasó esa noche. Además en la foto podéis ver que las otras fotos están rematadas en las esquinas con papel decorado de motivos navideños.

 

   In the central area and below I have write the chronicle, where I tell what happened that night. Also in the picture you can see the other photos are topped in corners with decorated paper Christmas decorations.

 

 

  La parte de arriba, la del título de la lámina, está hecha sobre una base de papel decorado verde, limitado con una cinta roja y en los dos lados una estrella de goma eva brillante. El título está hecho con sellos de letras y tinta negra sobre una cartulina blanca, que a su vez está sobre papel decorado rojo.

 

   The top, the title of the sheet, is made on the base of green paper decorated with a red ribbon limited and both sides foam bright star. The title is made with stamps of letters and black ink on a white card, which in turn is decorated on red paper.

Un regalo especial... - A special gift...

   Tengo muchas cosas nuevas que enseñaros, algunas novedosas, pero otras simplemente cambios en algunas de mis antiguas creaciones. En este caso se trata de un amigurumi que ya hice pero que he personalizado a gusto de la persona que me lo encargó.

   I have many new things to teach, some new, others simply changing some of my old creations. In this case it is a amigurumi I already did but I've customized to like the person who commissioned me.

   Todos conocéis ya a mi famosa Rana Juana, pero como observaréis tiene algo diferente, el nombre de la persona a la que iba a ser entregada. Su historia comienza cuando una antigua compañera del colegio me encarga este amigurumi, pero necesitaba que el nombre de su hermana, Lorena, estuviera en el muñeco. Pensamos varias posibilidades, pero al final opté por bordarle yo misma el nombre a mano en la falda de Juana.

   You all know my famous Rana Juana, but as you will observe is something different, the name of the person who was to be delivered. His story begins when a former classmate charge me this amigurumi, but needed the name of his sister, Lorena, was in the doll. We thought several possibilities, but in the end opted for myself hand embroider the name on the skirt of Juana.

   Otra peculiaridad de esta rana es que tuve que hacerle la falda a mano, no como la vez anterior que pude contar con la ayuda de mi madre. No pienso que se me dé mal coser, pero es bastante difícil para mí crear ropa de la nada.

   Another peculiarity of this frog is that I had to make the skirt by hand, not like last time I could enlist the help of my mother. I do not think that gives me bad sewing, but it's hard enough for me to create clothes from scratch.

   A Juana le encanta estar en lugares húmedos. En esta foto la podéis observar como descansa sobre un tronco. En cuanto a este original regalo me parece ideal que la gente piense en regalos únicos y exclusivos hechos a mano.

   A Juana loves being in damp places. In this photo you can see how rests on a log. On this original gift seems ideal people to think in unique and exclusive handmade gifts.

   Y como ya sabréis, a partir de ahora todos mis amigurumis y, en general, todas mis manualidades van a ir acompañadas de una caja personalizada donde poder guardarlas. Esta caja la tuve que hacer en un tamaño extra grande para poder meter a Juana, que mide unos treinta y ocho centímetros.

   And as you know, from now on all my amigurumis and, in general, all my crafts will be accompanied by a personalized box where you can save. This box I had to do an extra large size to put Juana, which is about thirty-eight inches.

   En esta foto podéis ver más detalles de la caja como su ventana, la puntilla adhesiva, los botones de colores y, por último, mi logo. Dentro la rana va bien atada para que no sufra ningún contratiempo.

   In this photo you can see more details of the case as your window, the adhesive lace, colored buttons and finally, my logo. Within frog goes well tied to not suffer any setbacks.

   Espero que os haya gustado la personalización de este amigurumi, así como su caja. A Lorena le encantó su regalo y se me hace muy feliz. Regalando artesanía - Giving crafts

   Primera entrada del año después de las fiestas de navidad. Tengo muchos trabajos que enseñaros, así que poco a poco escribiré a cada uno la entrada que se merece. Estoy haciendo cosas nuevas que no tienen nada que ver con el ganchillo y he incorporado novedades a algunos amigurumis que ya había hecho. Para poner el broche final a la navidad os enseño en esta entrada el detalle que regalé a la profesora de mi hija mayor.

   First post of the year after the Christmas holidays. I have many jobs for teach you so gradually write to each entry it deserve. I'm doing new things that have nothing to do with crochet and have incorporated some news in amigurumis I had done. Sobre de postal navideña

Envelope of Christmas card

   En esta primera imagen podéis ver el sobre que utilicé para meter dentro la postal navideña hecha con la técnica de scrapbooking. Su decoración es muy simple, unas estrellas de goma eva adhesiva y unas perlas también adhesivas.

   In this first picture you can see the envelope I used to get into the Christmas card made with the art of scrapbooking. His decoration is very simple, a foam star adhesive and a sticky pearls.

Copo de nieve de ganchillo

Crochet snowflake

   Aquí está la foto de la portada. El copo de nieve blanco está hecho de ganchillo y tuve que hacerlo viendo un vídeo de Youtube, pues aún no soy muy experta en este tipo de tejido plano. La base de la postal navideña es una cartulina blanca, a la que añadí una cartulina verde recortada con una tijera de formas y encima un papel decorado rojo.

   Here is the cover photo. The white snowflake is made in crochet and I had to watch a Youtube video, because even I'm not very expert in this type of flat fabric.  The base of the Christmas card is a white cardboard, to which I added a green cardboard cut with scissors shapes and above a red decorative paper.

   El interior no es muy recargado. Tiene una pequeña felicitación navideña y un cartel hecho de cartulina verde donde pone "FELIZ NAVIDAD" con un abecedario en sticker. Este cartel tiene en sus esquinas unos washi tapes dorados.

   The interior is not very ornate. It has a small Christmas felicitation and a poster made with green capboard where it says "Merry Christmas" with an alphabet sticker. This poster has in the corners a gold washi tapes.

Bolsillo y etiqueta

Pocket and label

      Éste es el detalle del bolsillo que lleva la postal. Está hecho con un papel decorado rojo con topitos blancos. Y dentro del bolsillo hay una etiqueta navideña que me había gustado de la red e imprimí. Además le añadí un lazo rojo. 

   This is the pocket detail carrying the card. It is made with a red paper decorated with white polka dots. And inside the pocket is a Christmas tag that I liked the network and printed. Also I added a red bow.

   En la contraportada utilicé un sello que pone "Handmade with love" con tinta dorada.

On the back I used a stamp that says "Handmade with love" with gold ink.

Broche de ganchillo

Crochet brooch

   Además de la postal navideña le hice un broche de ganchillo. Es un diseño sencillo que saqué de la web y ahora mismo no recuerdo donde. Es una flor de dos capas, una marrón y otra blanca. Como toque final le puse un botón muy elegante.

   In addition to the Christmas card I made a crochet brooch. It is a simple design that brought in the web and now I can´t remember where. It is a flower of two layers, one brown and one white. As a final touch I put a very elegant button.

Empaquetando regalos - Packaging gifts

   Hoy es el último día de este espectacular año tan bonito para mí. Como estamos en fechas navideñas os voy a enseñar como he empaquetado este año los regalos. Ha sido de una manera sencilla, pero a la vez original, aunque confieso que me gustaría haberle dedicado un poco más de tiempo a ello pero me ha sido imposible.

   Today is the last day of this spectacular year so nice to me. As we are at Christmas I'll show you how I packaged gifts this year. It was a simple, but both original, although I confess I like having spent a little more time to it but it has been impossible.

   En casi todos he utilizado papel kraft, que es un tipo de papel básico sin adornos y en color marrón. Al no estar decorado favorece que nosotros mismos creemos sus complementos decorativos. En este caso simplemente añadí unos stickers de corazón en una esquina, hilo de embalar y una letra un poco recargada. 

   In almost all I used kraft paper, which is a basic paper type unadorned and brown. Not being decorated favors that we ourselves make their decorative accessories. In this case I just added some stickers heart in a corner, wire wrapping and a letter a little overdone.

   En este paquete añadí un sticker en forma de sello, que junto al hilo de embalar crearon un ambiente postal, pues parece que sea un paquete enviado por correo. Para darle un poco más de color puse un poco de washi tape en la otra esquina.

   In this package I added a sticker shaped seal, together with wire wrapping created a postal environment, it seems to be a mailed package. To give a little more color put some washi tape in the other corner.

   El otro tipo de papel que he usado es éste, gris con topitos blancos. Me pareció un papel muy bonito y poco recargado. Para decorarlo he añadido un lazo rojo que contrasta mucho y foam brillante en forma de corazón en varios colores. El nombre del destinatario lo puse con un abecedario en sticker.

   The other type of paper that I used is this grey with white polka dots. I found a very nice and uncluttered paper. To decorate I added a red tie and  heart shaped foam in various colors. The recipient's name put it with an alphabet sticker.

   En este regalo también utilicé ese papel, pero até el lazo rojo alrededor de él. También le puse unos brillantes rosas y un cartel con el destinatario cogido con washi tape brillante.

   In this gift I also used that paper, but the red ribbon tied around it. I also put a bright pink and a sign with the recipient caught with bright washi tape.

   

   Volvemos al papel kraft. Até alrededor del regalo el hilo de embalar que decoré con banderines hechos con washi tapes. 

   We return to the kraft paper. I tied around gift wrapping thread that I decorated with flags made from washi tapes.

   Éste es una combinación de los otros regalos, pues tiene stickers en forma de corazón y trocitos de washi tapes para darle color.

   This is a combination of other gifts, it has heart-shaped stickers and bits of washi tapes for give colour.

   Éste es mi preferido porque gracias al papel kraft, el hilo de embalar y el sticker en forma de sello parece que el regalo sea una carta.

   This is my favorite because thanks to kraft paper, wire wrapping and shaped sticker label seems that the gift is a letter.
