Trabajando la madera - Wood working

   Sigo añadiendo nuevas secciones en el blog, en este caso "Organización scrap", pues he fabricado un expositor para guardar mis washi tapes. El problema del scrapbooking es que te conviertes en una adicta a las compras de material para esta manualidad, por eso publico tantos vídeos de compras en mi canal de Youtube.

   I´m adding new sections on the blog, in this case "Scrap organization" because I have made a display to keep my washi tapes. The problem of scrapbooking is that you become a shopaholic material for this craft, so many videos I public on my Youtube channel it´s about shopping.

   Desde que empezó el año empecé a acumular material y ahora estoy empezando a organizarlo, así que para ello estoy fabricando algunas cosas de madera. La idea de este expositor no es mía sino de la creadora del canal de Youtube "El rincón de Rilla", así que os dejo aquí el link al vídeo sobre su expositor.

   Since the year began, I began to collect materials and now I'm starting to organize it, so for that I'm making some things out of wood. The idea for this display is not mine but the creator of the YouTube channel "El rincón de Rilla", so I leave here the link to the video of her display.

   Como podéis ver en la foto tengo bastantes washi tapes, así que espero no comprar ninguno más durante un tiempo. Cada uno tiene un nombre específico dependiendo del material con el que están hechos: fabric tape los de tela, masking tape los de papel, etc.

   As you can see in the picture I have enough washi tapes, so I hope not to buy any more for a while. Each has a specific name depending on the material they are made: fabric tape with fabric, masking tape with paper, etc.

   Ha sido un trabajo fácil a pesar de haber tenido que serrar, lijar y pintar. Utilicé pintura acrílica pero tuve que darle tres capas. A parte puse unos clavos para fijar los palos a la madera de la base.

   It was an easy job despite having had to be sawed, sanded and painted. I used acrylic paint, but I had to give three layers. In addition I put some nails to fix the poles to the wooden base.

   Lo bueno de este expositor es que nos sirve para organizar y también para decorar nuestra zona de trabajo. Espero algún día enseñaros mi cuarto de manualidades donde guardo todo el material. Os dejo el vídeo donde os explico cómo lo he hecho.

   The good thing about this display is that it helps us to organize and also to decorate our working area. I hope someday show my craft room where I keep all the material. I leave the video where I explain how I did it.

Postal de nacimiento para niño - Postcard from birth to boy

   Ya queda poco para que terminen las vacaciones escolares, así que tengo que aprovechar al máximo estas dos semanas para adelantar todo el trabajo posible. Hoy vengo con una nueva manualidad de scrapbooking. Cada día me gusta más este tipo de manualidades y como sabéis empecé este año con ellas y dio un giro a mi blog, así que me gustaría saber vuestra opinión sobre estos trabajos.

   And there is little to finish the school holidays, so I have to make the most of two weeks to advance all possible work. Today I come with a new craft of scrapbooking. Every day I like this kind of crafts and as you know I started this year with them and took a turn my blog, so I'd like to know your opinion on this work.

   Hace unos meses os enseñé una postal de nacimiento para niña que podéis adquirir en mi tienda Etsy pinchando aquí y ahora tocaba el turno de la postal para el niño. En este caso he combinado los colores azul y dorados, dándole protagonismo a la forma de las estrellas que aparecen tanto en la figura principal, el carro, como alrededor y en los bordes del papel.

   A few months ago I showed you a postcard from birth to girl that you can purchase in my shop Etsy clicking here and now it was the turn of the postcard to the boy. In this case I combined the blue and gold colors, giving prominence to the shape of the stars that appear in the main figure, the car, around and the edges of the paper.

   Dentro disponéis de una hoja en blanco para escribir la dedicatoria a los padres, a parte continúa la decoración a juego con la que se encontraba en la portada. Un cartel en azul con la palabra "Congratulations" y estrellas alrededor.

   Inside you have a blank sheet to write the dedication to parents, besides decoration continues with wich it was on the cover. A blue sign with the word "Congratulations" and stars around.

   La postal queda completada con el sobre que hice a juego, el cual está decorado en una esquina con estrellas doradas. Este trabajo también podéis encontrarlo aquí en mi tienda Etsy. También se puede personalizar.

   The postcard is completed with the envelope, which is decorated in a corner with golden stars. This work also you can find it here on my Etsy shop. You can customize it.

Intercambio scrapero y pocket letter - Exchange scrap and pocket letter

    Hace una semana que estaba por aquí y...¡¡ya estoy de vuelta!! Como os dije hace tiempo tengo muchas cosas pendientes para enseñaros y por eso voy a intentar escribir una entrada en el blog una vez a la semana. Hoy voy a hablaros sobre mi primer intercambio surgido en Youtube.

   One week ago I was here and... I'm back !! As I said a while I have many pendant things to show you and so I will try to write a blog post once a week. Today I will tell you about my first exchange appeared on Youtube.

   Cristina, creadora del canal BeCreative Scrap, me propuso que intercambiáramos algo de material para scrapbooking y a parte que hiciéramos una pequeña manualidad relacionada con esta técnica. Yo le propuse hacer una pocket letter.

   Cristina, designer of BeCreative Scrap channel, proposed to me we exchanged some material for scrapbooking and made a small craft related with this technique. I proposed to make a pocket letter.

   Hace poco descubrí en qué consisten las pocket letter. Podemos fabricar a partir de una funda de plástico de tamaño Din A4 el soporte de nuestra pocket letter, que tiene que constar de nueve bolsillos. Para hacer las separaciones utilicé la máquina de coser.

   I recently found what consist the pocket letter. We can be made from a plastic A4 size support our pocket letter, which must consist of nine pockets. To make the separations I used the sewing machine.

   Una vez que ya tenemos los bolsillos tenemos que decorarlos con papel decorado, tags, flores, cintas, etc. El borde de la funda también podemos decorarla con washi tape. En él yo también puse unas cuentas y un cascabel.

   Once we have the pockets have to decorate them with decorative paper, tags, flowers, ribbons, etc. The edge of the cover can also decorate with washi tape. In it I also put some beads and a bell.

   La gracia de enviar una pocket letter se encuentra realmente en la parte de detrás donde podemos poner pequeños regalos para la persona a la que se la vamos a enviar. Yo le mandé botones, goma eva, flores de ganchillo, etc.

   The grace of sending a letter pocket is actually in the part of back where we put small gifts for the person we are going to send. I sent buttons, foamy, crochet flowers, etc.

   Y como todo cuenta también podemos enviar nuestra pocket letter de manera muy bonita. En mi caso yo utilicé papel craft, una blonda y lazo.

   And as every account we can send our pocket letter very nice way. In my case I used craft paper, lace and ribbon.

Velas shabby chic - Shabby chic candle

   Con esta nueva entrada en el blog inauguramos una nueva sección: decoración shabby chic. Mis "secciones" las podéis encontrar en las etiquetas del blog, que aparecen al final de cada entrada. Por ejemplo podéis encontrar la sección "amigurumis" o "scrapbooking".

   With this new blog post we inaugurated a new section: shabby chic decor. My "sections" can be found on the labels of the blog, which appear at the end of each entry. For example you can find the setion "amigurumis" or "scrapbooking".

   El primer trabajo relacionado con la decoración shabby chic van a ser este par de velas. Este estilo se caracteriza por los tonos pastel y la presencia de flores, perlas y encajes entre otras cosas. 

   The first work related to the shabby chic decor will be this pair of candles. This style is characterized by pastel colors and the presence of flowers, pearls and lace among other things.

   Los materiales que he empleado para decorarla han sido: papel decorado, tela de saco, cinta, perlas y flores de fimo modeladas por mí. Lo bueno es que en mi canal de Youtube podéis encontrar el tutorial completo para ver cómo se decora esta vela, así que os animo a que probéis a hacerlo.

   The materials have been used to decorate: decor paper, burlap, ribbon, pearls and fimo flowers modeled for me. On my Youtube channel you can find the full tutorial to see how this candle is decorated, so I encourage you to try to do.

Flores de papel - Paper flowers

   ¡¡Hola a tod@s!!¿Qué tal estáis llevando el verano?Yo muy bien porque estoy adelantando todo el trabajo que he ido acumulando durante el invierno, pero también he de confesar que con esta calor a veces da un poco de pereza. A parte cada vez me cuesta más enseñaros nuevos trabajos, pues por un lado ahora también estoy en Youtube y quiero grabar un vídeo de cada trabajo terminado, y eso conlleva más tiempo aún.

   Hello everybody!!What are you wearing this summer? I'm very well because I´m getting ahead all the work that I have accumulated over the winter, but I must also confess that this heat sometimes gives a little lazy. Apart ever costs me more show my new job because on one hand now and I'm on Youtube a video recording of each completed work, and that takes even longer.

   Tengo muchas ganas de enseñaros el amigurumi que estoy haciendo, pero todavía no lo he terminado... La verdad es que me está llevando mucho tiempo, podría decir que ha sido el más difícil para mí por ahora. Pero hoy toca hablar de estas flores de papel, que vienen acompañadas de su video-tutorial.

   I really want to show you the amigurumi I'm doing, but I still have not finished ... The truth is that it is taking a long time I could say that was the most difficult for me for now. But today we talk about these paper flowers are accompanied by a video-tutorial.

   Tú puedes hacerla muy fácilmente y con un resultado espectacular. En mi caso yo la utilizaré para decorar una jaula, pero también sirven para decorar álbumes o láminas de scrapbooking. 

   You can do it very easily and with spectacular results. In my case I will use it to decorate a cage, but also you can decorate albums or sheets of scrapbooking.
